Going strong on the 12-socks-in-2015 challenge! Here is my third pair for the year. This was a sock kit I got from Pandia's Jewels and represents a collaboration between PJ yarn and a pattern by my favorite sock pattern designer, C. C. Almon of JavaPurl Designs (and also of the Geeky Girls Knit podcast, which I LOVE!).
I was crazy excited to knit these socks. The yarn? Completely luscious. Just look at those colors! I love the way PJ yarns knit up. One might say I'm addicted. And I would be hard-pressed to deny it. And the pattern was wonderful. As soon as I saw these gorgeous cables, I was hooked. I adore cables. As usual, the pattern was written so well; super clear and the result is always fabulous.
I loved the unusual design element of these socks. They have a folded down cuff with nonfunctional buttons. That is another reason I love this sock pattern designer; she comes up with such creative ideas!
